Google Wallet Missing

When I went to Google Play, Google Wallet was no where to be found. I read on another forum that Verizon does not make it available for many of their devices because it is a "different app". Not sure what that exactly means.

Any non-rooted users have this installed on their phone?

Verizon completely blocks Google Wallet from their phones. You can't get it from the Play store. If you have a compatible phone, you can side load the app from a trusted source.

True. Or by rooting your device you can gain access to Google Wallet.

You can get it from the play store if you can change your build.prop file.
