Google wallet troubles on note 3

So since i purchased my note 3 on release date for some reason any time I came across a chance to use Google wallet with my note 3 I can never seem to get it to engage? No matter where I'm at or how many times I try before giving up..I'm not sure if it's cause the phones so big I can't find the NFC sweet spot when attempting to tap and pay or what? I have used the NFC in other situations such as tapping NFC capable phones together and it works just fine. So has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks for your help.
 
At first, I was going to say it is a carrier thing but I see you're on Sprint. So, it shouldn't be. Hoping maybe another Sprint user will chime in and tell you that it is just your phone.

If no other Sprint user is getting theirs to work too, that would be bad for wallet and the rest of us. I refuse to use Isis.
 
Isis isn't that great. I would really suggest to go back to the Sprint store because you shouldn't be having that much trouble, it should be really easily to be honest.
 
Iv used wallet in the past many times on my gs III but for some reason it won't engage on my note no matter where I place it on the tap and pay reciever it won't work for some reason? But it's not my NFC chip because iv used it to share pictures and videos by tapping my phone with other NFC capable devices I don't get it?!?
 
Nice RickSchlegel. My account shows that my identity is verified but there is no joy for me with tap and pay at the moment. However, I just spoke with a rep at Google Wallet as I also have a Verizon Note 3 and have lost my tap and pay option coming from a GNex. What she told me was that Verizon does not authorize it. I already knew that. She also told me that with the upgrade to kitkat that won't mean a hill of beans. We will still have our tap and pay option. They will no longer be able to block it. And it looks like we will hopefully get that upgrade next month? My fingers are crossed!
 
Yeah I just tried mine again and I can't seem to get it to work whatsoever...but like I said NFC transfer of video and pics to another NFC capable device works like a charm so it's not my NFC chip I don't get it?!?
 
I think I just figured out why, I'm on sprints network with my note 3 And I just went to about in the wallet app itself and tap and pay says not available???? Any ideas why???
 
I have a verizon GN3 and I'm having the same issues. I have NFC turned on and I'm not able to make payments either.
 
According to Google wallet support even sprints version of the gnote 3 is not currently a supported device for tap and pay payments???
 
I had tap and pay on my Verizon Gnex but then I was also rooted. Kinda side-stepped their block that way. I am not rooting my N3 so I will just be patient and wait for kitkat and get it the "legit" way. As to the wallet card. I just don't see the reason for it. Why add another card to my pocket? Seems pointless. If I am missing some big deal here with it please someone explain.
