GoogleMaps - Cached Maps

Hey!

Can anyone advise how to use pre-cached maps when there's no Wi-Fi? I've cached them on GoogleMaps app, but when I turn off WiFi so see if it works, it can't find anything - just keeps searching.

For example, I've cached all of Manhattan, then I turn of Wifi, go to Googlemaps again, search for Manhattan, but nothing comes up - it just keeps searching for ages.

Any thoughts? I'm using Galaxy Ace.

Haven't you updated Google Maps?

As I know, Maps doesn't cache any more. Now you can download offline maps up to six maps a' 80MB.

But if you haven't updated, you migh wait and read this thread and then decide ...
