Googleproof camera

[Rgarner]

I would like to find one. Things should be kept safe from their prying tentacles. By the way, what's the news on fighting their proposed January 2027 garbage? I think
F-Droid has some info but I'm not sure how recent.

You will still be able to install unverified apps by turning on the setting in Developer Options and waiting 24 hours. It's already there and I have done so.

Keep Android Open

Your phone is about to stop being yours. In 2027, Google will block every Android app whose developer hasn't registered with them.

Read the "escape hatch" section
It's not really as complicated as they make it look there.

One of the first things I do, with a new phone, is enable the developer options. I had to go find the install apps from unverified developers. Now I've got to wait the 24 hours.
IF I remember to go back, tomorrow, to turn it on.

And if you forget it will be the next day, or whenever you think of it.

Try Open Camera

These freaks at Cricket have somehow managed to shut down dev ops. What that has to do with customer loyalty I don't know. That's about the first thing I would do too. Meanwhile, is there some kind of camera apk that cannot be messed with by goo?

Opencamera non profit over all, very excellent quality when taking any type of photographs, unlimited settings.... wink wink. Found on f-droid.
