Seems unlikely, but who knows. Usually when they change their schedule, it is to push the date out further. That schedule writes the Triumph off completely.

Well, you need both the manufacturer and the carrier on board to get an update. I doubt VM is going to go for it regardless.

Just be glad that there is the great dev community for the Triumph.

Yeah VM might not care cause from what I see the MT isn't in ANY store out here in Virginia.Was at BB Target and Wal-Mart and no MT to be found.If it's not being sold in store then maybe VM will be on board or maybe this phone is just considered "junk"

The Radioshack and Best Buy by my place sell the MT (the Walmart by my place doesn't sell any VM phones... well in store anyways). It could be they were out of stock at the time or maybe they don't sell them where you are located. So it is being sold in stores and even if it wasn't I doubt VM would do anything...

I've obtained four at various Target stores in my area (originals for DH and me, each of which has been exchanged once for defects).

I think Wal-Mart only carries the VM mobile broadband stuff at all their stores now.As for the Best Buy here they discontinued selling it according to the mobile specialist at my Best Buy (but then again this Best Buy here has gone downhill ALOT).As for the Target idk why they didn't have it but I didn't see a price tag spot for the phone so it seems they don't carry it either.It would seem to me that if VM sees the sells for the MT are poor in an area they would pull it for a phone that will sell.Common business sense tells you "If a product doesn't sell replace it with one that does."It should really say "If a product doesn't work well FIX IT don't just send a replacement that's exactly the same."
