Help Gorilla Glass

If you don't have insurance then there may not be much you can do.

You can either call VZW or go into a corp store and plead your case and see what they might be able to do for you.

Worth a shot.

I am from India and here we don't have any kind of cell phone insurance...
is there anyway I can buy the new gorilla glass and put it again

I would go to a service center and see what they say.

I would not attempt to replace the glass yourself.

I had an OG Droid that had a cracked screen and decided since I didn't use the phone anymore that I would attempt to replace the screen.

What an absolute mess that turned out to be. LOL!

Amen! I consider myself to be pretty handy with tools, etc. But I tried to repair my fiancee's HTC Dinc using a replacement digitizer I got on eBay, and it was a nightmare DIY. After 2-3 hours burned, I took it to a local repair center and it cost me more to undo the further damage. Even then it didn't work quite right.

That being said, we have a shop in Houston that does great repairs - this would have cost me only $50 if I had it done there to start out with.

The parts are dirt-cheap online; the trick is to find a shop with a reasonable labor cost.

EDIT: the Razr screens may not be readily available though since the phone is still a fairly new model.
