Yesterday, I went with my friend to Fry's to get the Razr Maxx and I strolled to the tablet section. I was looking at the Galaxy tab 2 then I noticed a price tag next to it saying $199.99 for another Samung tab. I looked up the Model number and it was the Galaxy tab plus. I did a bit of research and noticed that this tab had better specs than the tab 2. So I asked if this was an open box price and they said no. They didn't have any new ones in stock but they had 4 returned items. They marked it down 5% from the $199.99. I ended up leaving without the tab to do further research.
I went to the Fry's website last night and it said that no stores had it in stock. I was pretty bummed but decided to stop by another Frys on my way to work today. They had 1 new one available and I snagged it.
I'm charging it right now! I'm still in disbelief that the plus has a better processor, same display, almost the same size, more internal memory and other than not having ICS it's still cheaper than the tab 2. Score one for bargain shopping.
