Got A New Software Update & I am Scared

I don't wanna download it. Android is notorious for horrible OS updates that just ruin the life span of a phone.

I don't know what to do. I really don't wanna download it. This is for LG X Pad 8.0 on T-Mobile.

FYI this forum is for Samsung Galaxy Note 7. So don't know anything about updates for a T-Mobile LG X Pad

If your LG Pad X 8.0 from T-mobile doesn't have an app drawer this is the update that gives it back.

I disagree that Android is notorious for bad updates.
I think the problem is people by nature are resistant to change, and people don't know that a factory reset is recommended after updates if there are problems.

I will say that I think it has more to do with app developers not keeping up with updates. Granted, you can go to Apple where they treat their developers like subjects of a dictatorship. I'll take the hiccups on occasion if it means developers have a little more latitude.
