Help Got a Note 10.1 and it's so clunky :(

OK, Picked up the Note 10.1 today and it just seem so clunky. :(
I'm use to iPad's that run so smooth with no problems.
I can't even get a browser to work very well with this tablet.

I have no idea what I'm doing with Android but I'm giving it a try.
I'm actually thinking about returning it.
Maybe I should give it some more time.

Does it get smoother over time or is this it?

Mine is responsive for the most part. Though stock browser does force close sometimes for no reason. Haven't found a reason why though.

I do experience lag with the Play store and never figured out why (even after doing around 3-4 factory resets since the time I've owned it). Even becomes unresponsive sometimes. Kind of annoying but doesn't happen often.

Since it's new, I suggest doing a factory reset to clear/clean it up and then play around with it. See if that will clear the lagging issue.

Had mine a while now, and no matter what the Apple haters say, the iOS world offers more. My iPad 2 was faster than this, and there is more polished and plentiful software. Same is true for the iPhone.

I do like my Note 2 phone and my 10.1 but if Apple made a big phone like my Note 2, i'd have the Android devices on Craigs list the next day.
Android does every thing I need to do, but not every thing I want to do.

I know I sound pretty negative, but I don't mean to be. I like the keyboard better on Android, and the easy refunds of Google Play Store. I like the big bright screen on my Note 2 phone and my 10.1 . They are good and very capable devices.

iPad is faster as it only shows rows of icons and not live content like Android.

If you prefer that, there is no reason to keep the Note.

No reason to keep the Notes if you're not using the Pen or find it useless. That's the main attraction with the Notes. For me it's great and enjoy working with it. Some headaches here and there, but very minor. I hope my S Pen with eraser come in soon. The MS Surface Pen calibration is starting to be a bit off (just as bad as the Note 2) since dropping it a few times.

iPad doesn't give you a nice digital pen to work with. And a capacitive pen is not the same as a digital pen. There is a huge difference between the two. That is the strong point of owning and working with a Note.

As mentioned since you just got the tablet, you might want to factory reset it and start over.
When someone says a device is clunky, that says nothing.
It helps us to know what apps you may have installed that could be a factor in that clunkiness.

Out of curiosity, why did you get an Android tablet over the iPad?
