Got Chromecast to connect to my wifi but not seeing aps

Ok I got Chromecast to connect with my Wi-Fi, but I'm not seeing any apps nor instructions on how to use this thing.

Download the chromecast extension for Chrome and it will put an icon on the right side of your address bar allowing you to cast specific tabs etc.

Also, when watching YouTube or Netflix, there will be an icon underneath the videos you're watching which will let you choose whether you want to watch on your TV or the PC.

Also download the app on Play and you'll be able to cast via your phone.

There are no apps on the Chromecast itself, you have to put the compatible apps on your phone or other device and use it from there. The Chromecast app will tell you which apps are supported.

I'm using my phone. And Thanks. I'll try again tonight. Can I stream movies from websites if using the chrome browser on my phone.

no you cannot.
