Google Got Pixel 9 - can't find my old Pixel 7 triangles background

I just got and transferred over to a Pixel 9, having previously used a Pixel 7 and before that a Pixel 2. However, I can't find the wallpaper I like. You can see it on the left here:

I looked around but didn't find it on any site that has Google's wallpapers for downloading. I have a 7 and is not on that, maybe it carried over from your 2 but, as I said, I couldn't find it anywhere. It's gotta be out there somewhere. Maybe.

I just turned on my old pixel 2 XL, and you're right. It's the same background. I still use my pixel 2XL for transferring photos to Google photos.

I'll look around more. Or something similar. Or maybe I need to get with the times given how long ago I bought that pixel 2XL.

If you have the file on your old Pixel, save the file to the cloud or somewhere that you can grab it on your new phone. Find where your new phone stores the background wallpaper and add it to that folder. You should then have it as a choice to use providing it is compatible.

Thank you all so much for all these suggestions. I got it to work.

After the post from olbriar, I looked on my old Pixel 2 XL. I found out the wallpaper was called Tessellation 19 by Justin Prno. Looking online, I found a zip file where he had a number of these. Number 19 was it. So I downloaded that file and moved that picture over to my drive. I've also saved the zip file on my backups and in my Evernote for the future. I think I'll use a different color scheme of the ones in the set for my work phone. The zoom doesn't exactly match. My previous phones come up but that's easy to edit if I want to.

I really want to thank everybody here for posting and giving me ideas. It seems so simple, but it bothered me a lot not being able to get the same wallpaper and I wasted a lot of time looking for it. This makes me feel much more better about it.

just an fyi, i use Zedge™ Wallpapers & Ringtones - Apps on Google Play for all of my wallpapers and ringtones. they have a great selection of everything.....just in case you want to switch things up. i usually change my wallpaper every few months.

Thanks for that recommendation. I was a bit suspicious when I saw wallpapers distributed its apps, rather than as image files. So having your endorsement on this is good to have.

you can download the wallpaper as a jpeg file if you like on zedge. for some you might have to watch some advertisements to gain credits to do so.....that is the only catch with zedge.
