i had the SK4G also, i guess i'd recommend just the stock ROM but with the Bali kernel, or any ROM by ayoteddy. but ya, i got rid of that thing too

Cool will look into that. I got rid of some of the bloatware and it runs a little better but man what a let down. This is the first and last sammy device I will buy

yeah, i personally am all for HTC at this point, seems more solid all around.

i wish i would have known 'cuz i would have tried to talk you out of going from the G2 to the SK, lol. in the meantime, have you tried Tegrak overclock app from the market? i actually had the SK running decently well with the Bali kernel and a lil OC action with that app. Samsungs don't OC as well as HTC i don't think, so i could really only get it to 1.1, or possibly 1.152, but combined with the voodoo lagfix from the Bali kernel, it wasn't bad. the only problem i had with some custom ROMs for the SK(which was a big problem) was once or twice i rebooted to a flurry of force closes and had to restore a nandroid.
