Got shafted by best buy, verizon, and my cousin. What do I do?

Another thing that can happen when relying on another person for your cell service. Sure you can give your cousin $40 every month, but what if he defaults on payment to verizon? Then you have no cell service. You get what you pay for.

I'm thinking paying the $40 to your cousin may have not turned out to be the financial savings you originally thought it was. Seems like your only viable alternative now is to go through your cousin to fix the problem. Do you honestly think it is reasonable to expect Best Buy or Verizon to make good on his screw up?

Let me throw out a wild guess here, you were born between 1982 to 1992 and are clearly part of the entitlement generation??? I'm sure this wasn't the answer you are looking for either, you can thank me for a completely unhelpful post.

I was born in 87 and don't feel entitled :p

thank you i too was born in 87 i pay all my own bills my own line and i handle the changes myself because when something gets messed up it is only my fault. so i highly disagree with your stereotype of an entitlement generation. because i work damn hard for what i have and i hold only myself responsible for my actions as should anyone.

but to the op the second they said there might be an issue and theyll exchange after the 30 days you should have returned your phone on the spot and waited for the droid x to avoid issues. unless you have it in writing nothing is a guarantee.

I'm only 3 years older than you, and our generation is the "entitlement" generation. Believe me on this, people who work for what they got, like us, are the vast minority.
