So, I have Ubuntu 10 and debian on my connect running bor w/ big red....

The new Linux installer app (red icon) on market is free, easy to use with little tech knowledge and best of all it's TESTED AND WORKING!

So far the only issue I have is sounds don't work, but I'm trying an ubuntu10 armv build that can access the connects speaker. Fair warning, this is my first build since 410 and first arm build, so I may not get it for a while

So our stock no de-odexed rom wont work for this as the kernel won't loop data or somehting?

Im down to get ubuntu I just dont feel like going with BO

You can test for us! 0% chance of brick as it runs on sd via virtual machine. Just need an sd card with 2.5 to 3.5gigs (gonna check that) free.

Again, 0% chance of brick. And if xoom runs an Ics rom then I don't see why it wouldn't. Just needs loop support and storage space of 2.5g or greater.
