Help Gprs

Let me start by saying that i get excellent 3g speeds and reception. My issue is that often during long calls, i find that my phone switches to edge or often gprs. after the phone call, it quickly jumps back to 3g. Any help please

Does it cause any issues? As its only a call It probably switches to save some battery.

It causes 2 issues...one, the calls get very staticy and 2 if i wanted to browse and talk at the same time, i cant use data
