Help GPS Accuracy / Video Fail

So I seem to be having some problems with GPS/Google Maps and am wondering if any one can help. One night trying to find a liqour store google maps/google navigation sent me down the wrong road(s) and even to somebodys house! lol. Not sure if this is a problem with google maps being outdated or the gps its self. A lot of times when I am using it and get to a destination the destination is not at the end of where the route says it is and i have to look around for it. Gets kind of annoying and makes me think Im lost ,lol. Also i just downloaded the app GPS test and currently tested it out indoors and when it can actually find satellites it says that the accuracy in feet is 98.8. Is this normal? Are there any tips and tricks to possibly reset my gps to make it more accurate? BTW I am running Stock Android 2.1 that i flashed back with odin after trying the leaked Froyo.

Another problem that just popped up is with video recording. I am randomly getting Error: Video Recording Failed (or something to that effect) when recording videos now at random times when recording a video. Anybody have any insight into this?

1. I can't say much about Google Navigation, but I've had the same experience (this week)

2. Yes, there are issues with the GPS on Epic 4G, version 2.1. It seems to always report 100 ft accuracy but others have proved that it is actually more accurate than that. There are also issues with how quickly/accurately it locks. Read this post for info on how to resolve on 2.1

3. I don't use the VR much so I don't know.
