Samsung has had radio and especially gps issues in the past, what are the odds of this phone having same issues or have they finally corrected it on this phone?
Well the sgs2 does not seem to have any gps issues and I think the nexus s is not plagued with all the issues that plagued other phones so I would say this should not fall to the fate of poor gps and radio. Guess we will find out once it is released though I can't see google releasing a phone with a bad gps and radio.
The Nexus S track record plus the fact that the barometer was added to give the gps faster acquisition time gives a pretty good picture of where Google is at on the issue. Remember that Google has a lot of influence on the whole process and is integral in testing.
