GPS and Roaming

[bradsoltani]

I have an HTC one-V. When travelling from Canada to U.S., it's just crazy to get roaming for data, just to be able to use GPS. However, I heard that there is a GPS app that connects to satellite and you won't need your roaming data to use GPS.

Does anyone know about this?

Thanks

Premium navigation apps like Navigon and CoPilot have their maps on the Phone's storage and don't need a data connection for navigation. Just GPS on is enough

But note that you have to uncheck their online trafic info systems.
