GPS android

[sooreak]

Hi,

I was wondering if theres any good phone for less than 300 AUS, which has androind 4.0.1 or above, which has inbuilt gps (so no data connection required at all) because all the android phones i can find require a wifi connection do download the map before you leave the location with wifi. I currently have a garmin asus a10, but need an upgrade because im having many issues with the phone due to the age (3-4 years)
Thanks

Almost all phones have GPS, but all of them also need to have maps downloaded regardless of having GPS or not because the maps arent stored in the device, unlike your GPS device which has maps saved in its storage. Some apps allow you to download country maps beforehand though. However, most apps that can navigate offline are not free.
