GPS? Can we use with G Maps? maybe replace a Nuvi?

I don't see where this has a GPS. How does it work with Google Maps? Has anyone tried using this as a replacement for GPS in a car? Thanks.
 
I am using my Xoom tablet as my GPS - used to have dedicated GPS's (Nuvi was one) but have replaced with Google maps a long time ago.
 
I find Google maps dated in my area. The Garmin GPS works better for me anytime for serious navigation. Garmin community regularly update their free maps and Point of Interests.
 
I have used it successfully to travel to unknown streets in my area, and to travel from Buffalo NY to Harrisburg PA. It worked. Make sure you have a car charger for long trips because it will eat your battery. It is definitely not as full-featured as a dedicated gps, but it worked for me.
