My GPS navigation (the blue arrow icon) completely disappeared from my phone. I have searched in my storage and its not there. I still have Google maps. It is not in the app store to reinstall it. I also read other forums and it said to update maps, type in an address, allow it to navigate, then power cycle your phone a few times and app will reappear. Tried that several times and it didn't work. I tried power cycling the phone on its own and still no luck. I'm trying to avoid a hard reset so I don't lose things. Thanks for any help!

Did you update Google Maps to its latest version? I most certainly think you did...
Open that and enter an address... The rest should be self-explaining...

Uninstalling the maps update and rebooting will return "navigation' to your apps list. The only problem is that every day for the rest of your life it's going to ask you to update google maps. DON'T DO IT !!!-- lol
