GPS driving apps

[barry_g]

I'm having difficulty finding, and would appreciate recommendations for, a GPS app that is fully functional off-line, gives audible turn-by-turn directions, and can import/manage gpx routes.

The only gpx conversant apps I've found are oriented toward off-road or hiking. But I want the flexibility to plan an auto route with other software and then import the gpx file.

Thanks for any help!

Have you tried Navigation itself? If you are in the US, you can have maps offline. I use it quite often (although I use Garmin along with it) and it works pretty well (on my HTC One X)

I never bothered with this gpx thing. If your request is more specific, check out GPS Review forums.
