GPS Drops Signal

When I first got my s3, the GPS lock was fast and stayed connected. Recently though, if I'm driving or just walking, the signal drops all the time and can take up to 20min to reconnect. I'm rooted but stock. Didn't take the OTA. Not sure what's up, any ideas?

Yup, my GPS sucks too. Really frustrating when navigating in the car solo in unfamiliar areas. I get super angry and always tell myself to go into Verizon and get something done about it, unfortunately, I never follow through...message boards haven't yielded any fixes for me, I say I've spent about a 7/10 on the effort scale.

Pretty comical to think that my OG droid has a better GPS than the S3 :stupid:

Well that's certainly not good to hear. I have an Epic 4G with the same problem, and was hoping that Samsung would've ironed out this GPS problem long ago. Apparently they haven't.
