Help GPS fix issue

Is there anybody else with i5800 galaxy 3 apollo etc... that has suddenly struggled to get a GPS fix since the last google maps update?

I'm currently eclair not froyo

I have the Samsung Galaxy GT-i5801 I bought in Hong Kong and now using this in California with T-Mobile. I assume this is same as Samsung Galaxy Apollo 3?

This phone is running Android 2.1. I have not been able to get GPS AIDS to install. "This item is not compatible with your device". Is that GPS AIDS program fixing GPS problem for Galaxy S only?

Yup I had GPS issues until I switched over to a custom ROM with GPS fixes built in.

Hey barqers, is that custom rom that fixes GPS this rom: "Custom 2.2 LESTATIOUS v1.2 Froyo ROM".
