Hello and welcome to Android Forums hanna211! :)

Try substituting GPS Status & Toolbox for GPS Test that is mentioned in my guide. This has a feature that allows it to update the satellite positions at regular, user defined, times from every hour to every 3 days. This will automatically enhance your positioning wherever you are on the planet and offer a quicker fix.

164 feet accuracy, even indoors is not very good I am afraid. I am getting 30 feet accuracy indoors. Have a look at another thread I wrote on the subject for the Galaxy S4. Most of it can be adapted for the Galaxy S2....

GPS Fix - Dummies Guide

Make sure that you have enabled all Location settings, including Wi-Fi, to try and increase your accuracy.

problem is i cannot use wifi outdoors so why try enable that option its useless right ?.

in 1 of those threads somebody posted a tutorial but i just read the bit were he says enable ( gps test ) after it locks on , open ( gsp status ) i tried it kinda helps , i will try again , can you tell me what exactly you have done to yours i need to do same buddy please

The 2 threads mentioned will tell you all that you need to know. Forget GPS Test and just use GPS Status and Toolbox. As for Wi-Fi, you need to enable that for your initial fix as it improves it greatly... which is why it is mentioned. I no longer have the Galaxy S2. As a matter of interest... why do you need an Urgent answer?

am getting tired of this , is there anything i can do so everything stays intact even it powers down due to battery being dead.

i made backup of
gps.conf what ever its called
and xxx.sirf file or summot

issues am having .
after it shuts down due to battery being dead or reboot , when i start ( gps test ) my gps icon on top left dont show or blink , so it isnt active in anyway , what i have to do always is to open root file manager , and over-right original 2 files then reboot then my gps icon comes back but my setting be gone.

please advise what are the basic steps i can take to avoid all this stupid process time consuming process.

damit if i be out somewhere middle of nowhere and gps don't work or i have to mess around with the files in middle of nowhere this will look pretty stupid wudnt it .

I don't think you know how GPS works!

How does GPS in a mobile phone work exactly?

What is the point of getting an accurate fix at home, which relies on a minimum of 6 satellites, (4 for accurate position and 2 for timing), and then expect, with no GPS working, to get an accurate fix, somewhere different, in the middle of nowhere? At best you might get a cell tower fix, eventually, to within half a mile.

As demonstrated in my previous post, I received an accurate fix on Google Maps by just opening Maps and being on EDGE, with no Wi-Fi.

i opened up gps.conf and seen the line
