Root GPS help

I am using the deodex CM10 and am having trouble with my GPS. I copied the gps.default.so and gps.goldfish.so to /hw folder and changed permissions and the libgps.utils.so and libloc_adapter.so to /lib and the gps.conf to /etc but get no gps. I noticed the owner and group were still set to the sdcard so i changed all to 0000 root. is that right? or should they be something else. I did not check to see what they were before overwriting. Thanks in advance for the help.

I went from stock 4.0.4 to the deodex tester 11 and I was able to use the GPS right out of the box. With the WiFi and GPS toggles turned on I was able to plan trips in Google Maps with no trouble. Never had to install one of dadcup's GPS fixes to get it to work.

Yes the fix is inside the ROM totlth add the fix in build you need to turn on your GPS dl maps from Google play and test
 
I may try to reflash the deodex tomorrow and see if that works. I think it was working before. Could not get it to work in gnav earlier today and gpstest shows a 0 now.
 
So it seems to take a few minutes to get a GPS lock and even then only 6 SATs max in gpstest. Accuracy is a few hundred feet. Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: OK, so now its working great. Maybe a hardware issue? Hope not :-(
