GPS is a joke

I live in Belize, central America. The gps is so faulty that it always places me in Columbia, a whole continent away. I have to be outside my house for this to be corrected, and even then it takes so damn long. Tips?

GPS generally has to have line of sight to the satellites, that's why it rarely works indoors.

I use Fake GPS, it allows you to pick your location off a map, then simply hit the play button for that to become your location. For me it's the ability to give a GPS position indoors that's helpful, though I've heard of people using it to fake being in Paris, London, NY or wherever they choose, just to fool their friends.

TIP: You have to enable Developer Options by going into Settings->System->About Device and tapping on the Build Number several times, then back out and go into Dev Opts and tick Allow Mock Locations.

i've been having tough time with gps too.... i use maps and waze in a car and 75% of the time it is not connected to gps. i feel like it used to connect with no problem.... vzw
