Help GPS issues

Love this phone. Except for the flaky GPS. My Optimus V had zero problems getting and keeping a GPS fix, but GPS seems to be the EVO V's weakness.

I am not rooted (and at this point, I am not really planning on rooting). Are there any apps, or anything I can do to get a better GPS fix with this phone?

My last Evo V had never had any GPS issues; it worked perfectly. I had them send me another one before my warranty was over though, and since I've received it, I've had a lot of GPS issues. It takes a long time to locate me, and then the signal keeps getting lost. I figured it was the phone, not the service, since my last one was perfect.

There may be apps like this you can use, but I don't know how well they work- I've never tried them.

You can always try an app like A-GPS Injector, I've never had a gps problem but people who have used this app with good results. Good luck.
