Hiya,
I was using the old Co-Pilot 8 for my sat nav. The gps lock was never too clever, bit I suspected that was due to Co-Pilot trying to get you to upgrade to the latest version and lack of support for ICS. They then offered a free upgrade to their Co-Pilot GPS for free last weekend, so I jumped at it, only to find I have the same issues.
So this weekend I`ve also tried out the built in Navigation app and I have the same issue with that too.
The GPS doesnt seem to track me very well, it often shows me to be a street ot two away and frequently tells me I`m doing over the speed limit (even though I wasnt...I`m talking like 90 in a 30 zone) which I guess is the gps suddenly realising that I`m at the bottom of a street when it thought I was at the top.
It isnt a signal problem, I have a GPS booster in the car just in case, and its mounted on the air vent closest to the drivers door, so chance of `natural` signal from 2 windows.
Anyone else have these problems?
