GPS Mobile Tracking apps

Hi all,
Have read about a few mobile tracking apps for Android like F-secure etc
Most of them use GPRS to track the phone..

I want to know if there is an app which uses only GPS to track it..becoz if somebody replaces the SIM card, these apps are rendered useless...
