GPS Navigation

[islandiver]

Is there a Nav App that runs as an actual Navigation like in my car. The Google Navigation only gets me to the Nav screen after I set a route or destination. Am I doing something wrong or is there an App that just brings up a map of where I am and updates my position through GPS like my car does?

Hey,

Sprint phones come with a very good nav, but I take it that you don't have sprint?

If you want a turn by turn navigation, your probably going to have to pay some money for it. Pulled this from another thread, but here is a page of a bunch of different nav apps for android: Android Sat Nav Apps

Ditto.
Very dependent on where you are in the world, though.
Google Nav for instance doesn't have turn-by-turn in large parts of the globe. Like the middle east, eastern Europe, etc....
