Hi guys and happy new year 
I bought a htc M8 phone on Ebay the some time ago and quite fast I realized that the
GPS was not working very well. Google Maps was total messed up when GPS was enabled - it was hard to exit the program. Instead MapsMe seemed to work ok, but after a while this also stopped working - GPS not found. Same issue with a train ticket program - used to work, but suddenly not anymore.
I thought that maybe a factory reset would help, but after the reboot a window with "Teamwin" logo was just blinking. I had to press OFF/ON + vol down for 10 sec and then I could start up again.
During the start up I noticed that the message "htc this build is for development purposes only" was written in red font color!
OFF -> ON/OFF button+vol down -> status: unlocked, M8_UL PVT Ship S-ON HBOOT-3.19.0.0000
pressing factory reset from here -> enters TWRP 2.7.0.2 (Looks like ROM problem)
To me it looks like that the previous owner has failed/not finished in making a development root version - Am I totally wrong here? Searching on the net for a while it seems that I need at least a correct ROM version, but in that case I have no idea how to choose the correct version... I can't really not figure out if it requires more than this operation..
Could someone in here please guide me in the right direction?
