Summary: GPS worked when I first got the phone, running 2.1 stock. GPS stopped working when I rooted and installed 2.2 leaked rom, and doesn't work on 2.3 roms. It also won't work if I Odin an original stock 2.1 rom.
I'm far from a n00b. When I first got my phone, the GPS was working. It was horrible, and could take literally hours in some cases to get a lock, but it did work. When I rooted and upgraded to SuperClean, it was working. Then when I upgraded to 2.2 (unofficially), GPS stopped working all together. Since then, I've upgraded to 2.3 (GB/CM7/MIUI) and GPS still does not work.
I can leave GPS on, with GPS Status/GPS Test Plus running, literally for days and never get a lock.
I have tried wiping the phone, Odin over Eclair Stock rom, and it still, GPS never works.
NOTHING I'VE TRIED HAS GOTTEN GPS TO WORK.
Anyone have any ideas at all to get this working? Does everyone else's GPS work fine with CM7/MIUI?
