GPS now working :( (googlemaps)

Hi, I have a Telus HTC Hero and for a few weeks now my GPS simply stopped working with google-maps. It keeps saying "can't find location". If I use Gps Status app, it shows a compass and shows how fast I'm moving in what ever direction, but for some reason google maps can't seem to lock on.

I've tried hard and soft resets, turning triangulation on off, gps on off.. nothing is working and I"m really annoyed

Any help?

Copilot is also not finding my position.... It's taking forever... says signal located but that's it.
