Help GPS On Pull Down Menu

My SGS is a virgin and staying that way but is there any way to get GPS as an option on the pull down menu similar to wifi and bluetooth.

Was part of the 2.2 ROM that Samsung pulled.

Probably still be in there if it's ever released.

it's also part of one of the 2.1 roms too, latest 2.1 firmware
ma friends got that on their phone .. didn't check the version though

Either way. It's a part of TouchWiz hence baked into the ROM. There is no way to add it without flashing another ROM.

The version of the phone I bought has the pull down GPS option there. You may have an older 2.1 version running on your phone. You either gonna have to flash a new 2.1 or wait for the 2.2 update unless you can find something similar in the market.

You will have to update your firmware. No other way around it.
