Help GPS Text to Speech Changed to Beep Chimes

My Stratosphere recently started sending out door-chime like beeps instead of reading out the navigation turns. I pulled out the battery and rebooted, but it still won't speak the directions.

I can't find anything on this, and no one at Best Buy, where I got it, has seen this problem on this phone.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
