Last minute downloading as I'm preparing for my flight to Nepal tomorrow. I will be hiking Mt Everest for the next fourteen days and thought it would be really cool if there is an app which can be used as a GPS tracker and can be monitored by my friends and family here in England. Obviously I will not always have internet connection over there but is there a way of recording routes ready for me to upload at a later point? I've found a couple of apps but I'm pretty sceptical whether if it would actually work or not. (It seems my phone really struggles to find my point if I turn 3G/Wifi off for some reason...)
So far the best one would be MyTracker but any alternative backups would be great. Let's hear what you recommend guys
