Does anyone else here find the GPS connection takes longer or doesn't connect with the indulge while other phones on the metro network connect instantly.

Yes and I had a theory about that based on the settings in some file. Never got around to checking it out, but you can search for my post on the subject.

If you do test it, let us know if it makes a diff...

I fixed my GPS. What I did was upgrade to the Esteem.

No need to upgrade you phone for GPS issues. The indulge' gps is fine hardware-wise. Just download and install FasterFix, run it once, and you're all set!
One small caveat: it requires root access to work properly.
