My GPS app disappeared

Hi

If you mean the navigation app with the blue arrow icon is now built into Google maps. There is a little direction arrow symbol at top right of the main screen

Using the 'Directions' shortcut you can create your own icon on your home screen which will take you straight into navigation to a destination of your choice.

You can create more than one if you wish, each with a different destination, or to just take you into the 'choose destination' screen as the blue arrow did.
