Grandma wants an iPhone with a big screen, except......

Except she doesn't text, look at the internet, or read emails on mobile devices.
Is there a larger-screened iPhone, that maybe doesn't have all the bells and whistles, so we can get her what she wants without spending big bucks on unneeded features? It's gotra be apple.
Thanks!

Just get an android with an custom launcher that makes it look like a an iPhone. There are launchers for seniors with big icons for calls and contacts on the screen.
I don't think you'll be able to do this on an iPhone, no matter what the size is

What does she actually use it for? Does it have to be large screened? You are going to get unneeded features regardless, because it's a smartphone and from what you say any smartphone will have a lot of stuff she doesn't need.

The cheapest iPhone in the current range is the iPhone SE: 4.7" 16:9 screen with the traditional "home" button, basically a rebadged iPhone 8 from 5 years ago with a processor upgrade. Is that big enough? It is one of the smallest smatphones you can buy these days. If not the iPhone 11 is your next best bet (6.1" phone, looks like any other modern iPhone, uses the gesture interface). If you want anything bigger than that you are looking at either big bucks (iPhone 13 Pro Max) or second-hand, or finding a store that still has stock of an older large model (though chances are they'll still be asking more money than an iPhone 11 or SE).

Maybe an iPhone 11 Pro Max would be suitable which is not old and not that expensive, the phone has a 6.5-inch screen so it is bigger. Here's the link where it is affordable,

Not sure what qualifies as larger but do think a variant of an 11 would be a solid choice. Base model is $500., relatively inexpensive for an iPhone really. I'll be getting one for my niece at some soon-ish point, she has an old 6S+ that really needs to be upgraded but she isn't getting the latest/greatest!!!!

Once again, Hadron with the win!
Got her an iPhone SE, and she's happy as a clam.
Ocnbrze, you are right. I didn't stop to think that this is probably the last place where there would be any interest in apple products.
But I am NOT, joining any dammed "Apple forum". LOL
