Is it possible to have our phones get on the web while we're on the phone? I mean we are rooted..is it even possible with our devices or no since we're CDMA?
 
It is theoretically possible, but not with our hardware configuration. The CDMA 4g devices can do data and voice at the same time when it's able to access 4g for data and 3g for voice.

that makes perfect sense! so i'm guessing the evo can do this??
 
well...technically yes, we can surf and talk.. it does require that you use WiFi for your data connection. However, if you have no WiFi to connect to, then no, you have to have an Evo and a 4g connection (even the Evo on 3g can't do both)

you're saying we can connect with wifi and be on the phone at the same time with our hero? gonna try it!
