Wanted to say hi, been lurking awhile and thought is was time to register.
Been having issues with Verizon's service while tethering my Droid X with EasyTether (speed drops to 1x only when tethered).
However after browsing through some threads I found that enabling data roaming in settings does not incur extra charges, and I've been tethered with steady 3G service for a few hours now... So, hopefully, problem solved.
The joys of living out in the country, Verizon has the best coverage here, but even that can be spotty. Glad that was the problem though, instead of my ISP throttling my speeds.
Anyway this is a great forum I've learned a lot, thanks.
