Apps Great idea for app.

I have a great idea for an app, i want to share it and need partners. It may seem to be impossible but i believe it will be come true. Please watch this presentation video:

I would say the code would be simple but the database would be hard! To do just what that was explaining!

Hi Robpuk38,
In the conversation between ThienY and a famous person. This is how ThienY work, you tape anything you want to say into thought box, it will be shared with everyone joined in ThienY. But the famous person can't see it until it get enough vote. One the thought get the consensus of the majority of participants, system use the Text-To-Voice to convert it into voice, so the famous person actually hear what you want to say and respond. It like you are talking directly with the famous people.
I'm developing it from zero. It need: streaming server,MVC server, Text-to-Voice, the precise algorithm to detect the Top Thought,...
Any advice?Thanks!

I like the promotional video, but not sure about the concept. What particular applications do you see it being used with? For example, if I'm at a conference listening to a speaker, I'm not going to be concentrating all the time on my phone, looking at what questions are being proposed, and voting on them.

The way I understood the concept was say you speak English and the speaker is speaking Spanish, all who are using the app could hear the Spanish speaker speak their native language, through the app, with a simple Bluetooth or ear piece. the user then could speak in to the phone to ask a question, that would be translated to the speaker even if they speak English or what ever the receiver would understand them because the app converts English to Spanish or to any language the user sets for their native language. I would give each a channel a personal channel this way they are the controller of the speaker and all who tune to the channel are the listeners, yet no mater how many leisters are listing, they all lead back to the speaker or the channel owner. of course put pending feeds in so the speakers doesn't get hammed with 1000 questions at one time.

Hi LV246,
Firstable, we listen by ear not eyes. Second, at the conference, the speaker share with you his opinions about some topic, and do you think all his opinions are absolute right? I don't think so, at least some of them need a little bit of adjustment. And i believe that some one of the viewer may have may have better opinion than the speaker, not the whole topic, just some idea better. And ThienY will be there to raise it up. It's not only the question, but also comment, idea, even objection....You can actually participate to build the topic.
So, i think people should change their mindset, don't 100% concentrate to the speaker's thoughts. May be you give 80% to the speaker and 20% to the thought of the crowd, where i think the Top Thought come in. If you see the thought that you like, just thumb up and let the rest for ThienY's algorithm.

Hi Robpuk38,
No, it's not my concept. No one own the channel. if there are 1000 questions, all of them will send to all users except the famous person. After read them, user decide to agree or disagree. And the system detect the top question, which have been agree the most, send it to the famous person. All user control ThienY by their vote. Because the question is in text, so it need to be convert to speech.

Sure we listen with out ears, but we use our brains to process and understand what's being said.
I assumed by starting this thread, you would be interested in some subjective feedback and opinions, which is what I'm giving.
From my point of view I wouldn't really want to use this app if I was trying to follow what was being said, especially if it was highly technical. I don't want to give only 80% concentration on it, I want 100%.
Besides, if I was up on the stage giving a talk, and all I saw was people looking down at their phones, then that would be very discouraging for me to see, as if they weren't really interested in what was being said.

Hi LV426,
Yes, I'm not recommenced to use this app in highly technical conference. But there are a lot of conference need the feedback from the crowd, until now we don't have good method to do that.
As i have said, we really need to change our mindset. The people don't look down at their phones all the time. If i was the speaker, i will really happy when receive the valuable idea from the crowd. It mean they not only concentrate on my topic, but also the help me to build it.
