Found a great new ROM, SpeedRom. The theme is not so great..... But it is a very fast theme and a good replacement to Ubuntdroid because we won't be getting anymore development on that thanks to vampirefo...

To flash it, if you haven't already, clear the dalvik cache and flash this .zip EB28 Stock theme template (deodexed)
Then reboot to recovery, clear dalvik cache, and flash this SpeedRomV1.1 [EB28 Froyo - Updated 5/2/11!!]

Fresh install of Froyo....

This ROM has been interesting me as well.
 
The theme kind of sucks. There are a few minor problems (like not being able to clear notifications). The original had swype removed, so I pulled the apk from the stock deodexed theme and installed it, but I think that has been fixed
