Green LED light

A green LED light comes on when the battery hits like 90% charge, is this normal ?
I didn't get this with my Droid x, so I didn't know if it was a bug or just a droid X2 thing.

Mine lights up as well. I guess its just a DX2 thing, i never got it with my original X

Mine does too. I have battery circle so I get single increments for my battery life and I have noticed that at about 91% it says it is fully charged. I think the charger on the phone is a bit wonky.

I think it protects your battery from getting over-charged. While full rate charging generally cuts out when the battery reaches about 4.2 volts, there is a continous trickle charge that the battery receives as long as the phone is plugged in. The glowing LED probably uses just enough juice to protect the battery from that trickle charge, even if the phone is left plugged in for days.

Green LED...
My X started lighting the green battery charge LED after upgrading to Gingerbread. My X2 did it out of the box and the X2 came with Gingerbread, so I'm thinking it's a part of Gingerbread
