Green Power free ?

Downloaded this app recently, in hopes of maximizing battery performance. It seems that instead this app is really doing the opposite or the improvement is minimal. It keeps WiFi on almost constantly, even when I'm not using the browser. I live in an area with very good WiFi & 4g coverage. Is it recommended to let this app "manage" those settings or just manage them manually ? Maybe I should purchase the premium version ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say that if you don't like the free version, it seems crazy to pay for the full version.... I tried it for a day and hated how it made my phone run. This app is a waste IMO.

Green Power has worked a lot better then Juice Defender did for me.

Yes, I'm aware of that. I decided to take your advice, in selecting a " battery saving" app. I recently upgraded too a Shift from a Hero. I was told not to install " Advanced task killer." Maybe, " juice defender" is worth a try ? But, Ive never heard anything too positive about it on these forums.

You may have something else going on if GP isn't working. I would start clean and reload the apps one by one to figure out what is going on.

Ok, I'm going to take your advice and " reload the apps."

Although, I seriously doubt the apps have anything to do with the problem, since I only have 6.
