[Jock Bok]

Hi, my name's Jock Bok, I'm an alcho......... hold on, that's my other group....sorry!

Anyway....hi there, I'm a techno idiot so 'm going to be coming up with all sorts of dumb@ss questions!!!!! No time like the present, so here I go. Why do so many people recommend 'losing' the App Killer?

There'll be more to come, so once again apologise/apologize.

Welcome to the Android Forums!

The recommendation to "lost" the app killer is due to the fact that newer builds of Android are very good at managing memory. They automatically hibernate processes not in active use and can reclaim memory from apps when needed.
