New to Android--having made the migration from WM5 platform (Treo 700W) a few weeks back.
So far, I am impressed and enjoy the variety of functionality and screen real estate. The disappointing thing concerns work productivity--and hurdles to incorporate M$ Office functionality into the device. Sure, there are ways to do some of the mainline stuff--I use gSyncIt for the calendar and tasks--but have to reach out to numerous third party apps to bring in notes, OneNote, and so far time/project management has been consigned to an old HP WM PDA. My old software for that (Standard Time) has not been ported for Droid.
Otherwise, having a ball. Several apps add to my hobbies--amateur radio and photography--and I look forward to things that can be done once I root the phone.
What I find really funny is the iDrone crowd when they see me with my D2G. For some reason--total strangers--they feel compelled to start up a conversation that reminds me of a commercial. Good for them, now go away...
