Hi all. Looking forward to digging for knowledge and making sure I'm on the bleeding edge with Android. Have wanted an HTC Legend ever since I set eyes on it, and now I have it! MWAHAHAHA!

My big problem right now, is getting FroYo going. My phone was bought in Australia, shipped from Asia, but originally German and the damn thing won't update (can't get a match for ro.cid). If anyone has some hints right now that'd be great :)

Otherwise I'll go searching...
 
Welcome to the Android Forums!

Updates usually come from local carriers in concert with the phone manufacturer. Since your phone came from Germany it'l likely that any updates to it will be provided from the carrier that the phone was originally intended for.
