Hi all

Recently upgraded to an HTC Sensation and, after reading some quality posts on this forum, decided to plunge in myself, largely to share some observations on my first few weeks.

Long time mobile user [first was a Nokia 2110 !!], been a long time Nokia customer but very disappointed with their Smartphone offerings and could no longer afford to wait for them. Upgraded to the Sensation from a E71 which, I have to say, was one of the sturdiest, best battery life and full featured non smart phones I owned.

I don't like Apple's products [I am firmly in ABBA - Anything But Bloody Apple], their software, their proprietary nature or their evangelical users. An Iphone [I love this spelling, annoys the hell out of them] was never an option.

So, Hi, I apologise as I make some noise and excuses and find myself a chair near the front and the middle, all the better to see what is going on.

You might find a bit less battery wise with these smartphones than some of the nokia stuff but there are many tricks. Some people are getting up to two full days or more nowadays.

You may wanna have a look at Tasker when you feel like you know your way around your phone pretty well :)

Anyways congrats on switching to the little green robot and the HTC Sesnsation!

You should check out HTC Sensation - Android Forums if you haven't found it already. Other users of the same handset will have your best information, and be interested in your experiences.

I've always heard, "the devil is in the details" ... is that true? ;)
